Jerusha has worked within Research, Monitoring and Evaluation units playing a central role in creating systems for data gathering, information management and knowledge sharing. She has worked extensively in leading the development of software and infrastructure to enhance management of projects as well as promote use of information for decision making and experiential sharing. Jerusha a thought leader in Data Viz presenting at local and international conferences. She has been featured as a start up entrepreneur in Entrepreneur Magazine SA, Destiny, and Destiny Man Magazines. She was a board member of the South African Monitoring and Evaluation Association and PledgerSA NGO.

Tania is a data enthusiast with experience in quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis and visualization, proposal writing and project management. Tania has experience in regression modelling, and descriptive statistical analysis, as well as designing and conducting key informant interviews, focus group discussions, and ethnographic research methodology. She is passionate about improving Africa’s data techniques and data visualizations in order to have data that is easily understandable and therefore make informed development decisions. She has completed large data projects such as the measurement of national indicators for more than 54 countries on Population, Education, Employment, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Gender and Social Protection, and HIV/AIDS indicators for the UNFPA.

Teboho has experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods. She is passionate about women, child and adolescent health research and recently published a research paper with the Southern African Journal for Child Health entitled “Cervical cancer screening among adolescent girls in Lesotho: Levels and Determinants”. Her interests include M&E systems, data analysis and management, and data innovation.

Kanyi is an avid reader and a person that loves all things artistic. She is passionate about people and their intricacies, that she traces back to the university courses she took, which are inclusive of both her majors – African Languages, History and Anthropology. Kanyi has experience ranging in project planning and coordination, key informant interviews, writing and infographic design. In the near future she aspires to complete her post-graduate qualifications in Industrial Psychology and become an initiator and implementer of change in the world.

Rama’s background in Economics inspired him to use his technical expertise in social development. He has supported philanthropic, education and other social development organisations to design, monitor, evaluate and conduct research on programmes. The organisations include international, regional and local entities. Rama has technical skills in theory of change, data collection design, analysis planning, technical writing and small business start-up. He is passionate about M&E and entrepreneurship.
Dr Vuyi Skiti holds an MBA (Management Consulting) from the University Of Stellenbosch Business School. She is trained in management, strategy, leadership and Monitoring and Evaluation. She works closely with partners in government and the non-governmental sector to provide leadership and capacity building for the use of routine health information to manage and improve health care service delivery. She is experienced in designing and developing programme content for building capacity of health care managers. She has been providing technical assistant to help health care mangers and staff to develop bold and innovative district implementation plans, pilot testing the plans, implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation of the plans.
Maurisa Moloto is passionate about early learning and childhood intervention with a focus area on Early Childhood Development using an asset-based community or systems approach. Maurisa is the founder of the Lefika Foundation, a community, play-based language and literacy programme. She is a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist with 10 years experience in the public and private practice within the health and education sectors. She is a registered HPCSA private practitioner and has a special interest in the fields of learning difficulties, special needs as well as literacy.

Ayisolwainkosi Ncube (Msc, BSc Hons) holds a Master of Science Degree in Data Science and Analytics. He is a specialist and Consultant with more than 10 years of experience in the fields of Data Science, Analytics, Data Processing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Information and Communication Technologies for Development (ICT4Dev). The experience encompasses analytics, data governance, quality assurance, data processing and statistical analysis. This has been accumulated in several projects that focused on improving data processing systems and capacity building in public health, community development interventions and providing disaster relief for urban and rural communities in the Southern Africa region.

Tebogo Moloi has been working at the cusp of innovative technology and business models in product design, development and delivery. He spent the first half of his career working in Graphic Design and Informatics. He is an innovator and entrepreneur in the world of intelligent technology and innovation. Involved in projects that focus on artificial intelligence, big data and how to utilise the data to produce more reliable visuals and predictions through computational social science.

Majda Johaardien has a keen eye for detail and a flair for design. She has a persistent desire to improve myself, and to help others find purpose in their work and lives. With over 16 years of experience in the design industry, both as an entrepreneur, freelancer and in-house designer, Majda has worked at various agencies including Woolworths, Old Friends Young Talent, and JWT. This has allowed her to work on a plethora of amazing clients like Heineken, Johnson & Johnson, Woolworths, Genesis Analytics, and Shell to name a few.
